Dickie and Emma’s Big Trip

By Ames

We’re having an identity crisis. Nowhere we go can fully comprehend the spelling or pronounciation of our names. From now on we shall be known as Dickie and Emma. Or in fact any variation on the above that takes your fancy…

How good is Asia. It’s gotta be the best continent in the world! Sounds like you’re living it up proper style in Thailand – give the ladies a “swadee cap” from me!

We have arrived in Coz’s Bazar for a week. We’ve got a nice place and a pool on the roof, so it can’t be all bad now can it. fly home a week tomorrow back to the cold winter of britain.

    keep living the asian dream!

Oh no! I’ve just logged on to find you in crisis!! After missing out on your adventures for a couple of weeks I’ve just read through the last few blogs and it sounds like you’re having an amazing time! So try not to worry about the name thing too much – as my old granddad always says “you can call me anything you like as long as it’s not late for dinner”!

Can’t wait to see you soon! Kel xx

    Hey hey

Hahaha, that made me laugh, I get that everywhere I go. Everyone seems to have a problem with ‘Josh’ so when they ask they go, ‘oooh, George? George Michael?????’ (if only there was another famous George!) and I started to say no, ‘JJJJJJosh, not george’ all the time but now I just go, ‘yes….like George Michael’

It does beat people making Harry Potter jokes…..yes, I’d rather be associated with a gay, public toilet frequenting ex memeber of Wham(!) that with a fictional wizard……………..

I’ve got to say that getting it off a Thai person is a bit much, we were told that there word Ha can mean 5 different things depending on how you say it. One of these is 5, not too bad…another is Diarrohea……when he told me that I made it a rule not to buy five of anything, just in case ‘i would like some mangoes please’ ‘Ok, how many?’ ‘Diarrohea’

That would make them laugh more than my Wizardesque namesake

    xx

    xx

    Hey Mark,
Why don’t you take a day trip to St. Martin Island? May be you can do some Scuba Diving? You can ask your hotel to arrange the trip to St. Martin. I’m sure you won’t regret it. It’s the biggest Coral Island in Bangladesh. I wathed both the Sunrise and Sunset from the same place from the very West cost of the Island. You can also visit the “Torn Islands” near St. Martin Island. If you don’t have time, may be you can try Moheshkhali and Kutubdia Islands? You can get speed boats(10 taka Max Ricksaw ride from any of the hotels)
