About me…

…I’m currently living in London but about to spend 6 months working in Liberia for Tearfund, a Christian humanitarian aid and development agency.

I’ve previously worked in health management in the NHS, as well as bits and pieces for several charities both in the UK and overseas and completed an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases a few years ago. I’ve been wanting to work full time in the field of relief and development for a good few years now, so I’m really excited about this next step…!

Past pages on this blog are from the 3 months in autumn 2006 that I spent working for a disability charity in the Maldives through the NHS Management Scheme, and then the month travelling in Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Who knows what the internet connection will be like out in Liberia, but hopefully I’ll be able to update this blog from time to time with news and other bits and pieces…
